The VA's client environment focuses on delivering comprehensive healthcare services to eligible veterans across multiple facilities, including hospitals and outpatient clinics. Provide services and support as a Industrial Hygiene Services (Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)) in the DOD/Military Industry Sector focusing on Human Capital Solutions for clients such as Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) | Western North Carolina VA Health Care System (WNCVAHCS) Located In Western North Carolina (Western North Carolina VA Health Care System) and across the Mid Atlantic Region.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) | Hazardous Material Assessment [VA0001006]

Oversee Indoor Air Quality assessments, mold, lead, and asbestos sampling; ensure regulatory compliance; develop sampling strategies; supervise industrial hygiene operations; prepare reports.

Desired Qualifications For Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) | Hazardous Material Assessment [VA0001006] (VA0001006) Candidates:

• CIH certification, 10+ years in industrial hygiene.

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

• 4-year degree in industrial hygiene or related science, plus CIH certification.

Skills Required

• Hazard identification, air quality testing, data interpretation, management.

Competencies Required

• Excellent oral and written communication skills (This employer participates in the e-Verify program)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe)
